The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Taraba State University (TSU), has announced the resumption of her earlier suspended indefinite strike action.

A statement signed by the union chairman, Dr. Joshua Garba Mbave, said the Taraba State Government failed to implement the terms of the agreement reached with the Union on January 17, 2025.

The statements said “The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Taraba State University (TSU) Branch, hereby informs the general public, students, parents, and all stakeholders that it has resumed its previously suspended total, comprehensive, and indefinite strike action.

“This action follows the failure of the Taraba State Government to implement the terms of the agreement reached with the Union on January 17, 2025.

The strike was earlier suspended in good faith to allow the government adequate time to address the agreed issues.”
