The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Zamfara State Council, warmly congratulates one of its distinguished former Chairmen, former Press Secretary to the Zamfara State Government, and former Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad (Danmadamin Birnin Magaji), on his conferment with the prestigious Honorary Fellowship of the Linguistic Association of Nigeria (LAN), 2026.

It said as a former Chairman of the NUJ Zamfara State Council, you have made valuable contributions to the growth and development of journalism and the media profession in Zamfara State. Your subsequent service as Press Secretary and Commissioner for Information and Culture further demonstrated your commitment to public service, effective communication, and the promotion of the cultural and educational values of our society.
This well-deserved honour is therefore a source of great pride to the NUJ Zamfara State Council and the entire journalism community in the state. We celebrate this achievement with you and appreciate the recognition of your years of service and contributions to society.
