The Nasarawa State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists extends warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to all Muslim members of the Union, Muslims across Nasarawa State, and Nigerians at large on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Eid-el-Kabir reminds us of the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, faith, and compassion exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
As we mark this sacred season, we urge all to reflect on these values and allow them to guide our conduct in both private and public life.
The Council calls on Muslim faithful to use the period for prayers for lasting peace, unity, and progress in Nasarawa State and Nigeria.
"We also encourage all citizens, regardless of faith, to embrace tolerance, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence as the foundation for national development.
"We acknowledge the economic and security challenges facing the nation and pray that Almighty Allah will grant our leaders wisdom and strength to surmount them.
