President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to visit Bayelsa State on April 10 to commission key projects completed by the administration of Governor Duoye Diri.
Among key projects include the iconic gas turbine project and Angiama-Oporoma bridge amongst others.
The visit was disclosed in a statement issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who outlined the President’s itinerary as part of a broader four-state engagement across the country.
Ahead of the Bayelsa visit, President Tinubu is expected to spend the Easter holiday in Lagos, where he will commission several infrastructure projects undertaken by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
These include the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information System Building, a Multi-Agency Complex named after the President, and a new school complex.
The Bayelsa leg of the trip is anticipated to highlight ongoing development efforts in the state, with multiple completed projects set for inauguration during the President’s visit.(Niger Delta Herald)
