On the Lenten and Ramadan, congress identified with Christians and Muslims as they commence the Lenten and Ramadan seasons, respectively, and urged adherents to use the solemn period to pray for peace, unity, and progress of Benue State and Nigeria at large.

In the general elections ahead, congress noted that the nation urged members to remain professional, uphold the ethics of the journalism profession, and avoid actions capable of compromising their integrity.

The congress while calling on political actors to respect the independence of journalists and allow them to discharge their duties without interference or undue influence, the Congress called on the Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JEEDS) to improve its service delivery to the people of Benue State.
